Abstract
An ionic complex has been obtained from N2O4 in the presence of the macrocy clic polyether 18-crown-6. This crystalline compound was used as an effecti ve oxidizing agent for the oxidation of urazoles to their corresponding tri azolinediones at room temperature with excellent yields.
