Abstract
In a phytosociological study of some beaches on the sea-shore of Togo we de scribed the Remireo maritimae-Canavalietum roseae (easily disturbed by anth ropization). the Kyllingo peruvianae - Phyletum nodiflorae, some others her baceous communities (with Schizachyrium pulchellum or with Paspalum distich um, Blutaparon vermiculare and Sesuvium portulacastrum) and a new shrubby c ommunity on sand, the Jasmino dichotomi - Zanthoxyletum zanthoxyloidis.
