In the almost Friedmann-Lemaitre model of the Universe, the density paramet
er, Omega (m), and the cosmological constant, Omega (Lambda), measure curva
ture. Several linearly degenerate relations between these two parameters ha
ve recently been measured. Here, large scale structure correlations at simi
lar to 100-150h(-1) Mpc are found in the comoving three-dimensional separat
ions of redshift z approximate to 2 quasars. These function as a comoving s
tandard rod of length L-LSS approximate to 130 +/- 10h(-1) Mpc. A local max
imum in the correlation function at approximate to L-LSS/2 also appears to
be significant. By combining separate radial and tangential standard ruler
analyses, the lifting of the Omega (m) - Omega (Lambda) linear degeneracy w
ithin a single data set is demonstrated for the first time.
