Abstract
Cr-containing mesoporous silica molecular sieves (Cr-HMS) containing tetrah edrally coordinated isolated chromium oxide (chromate) moieties can operate as an efficient photocatalyst for the decomposition of NO and the partial oxidation of propane with molecular oxygen under visible light irradiation.
