Abstract
A silane functionalized by octafluoroacetophenone was polymerized by the so l-gel method to form an insoluble silicate with perfluoroketone pendants; t he silicate was used as a heterogeneous catalyst for the activation of aque ous hydrogen peroxide and the oxidation of aromatic amines and alkenes.
