Abstract
Reaction of sterically hindered bis(imidoyl)chlorides of oxalic acid with p icolylamine afforded conformationally locked oxalic acid-derived amidines w ith pendant pyridine functionalities. Based on this new multivalent ligand system, dimetallic complexes were efficiently prepared.
