Abstract
SnCl4-catalysed Claisen rearrangement of 7-allyloxychromones at 0-5 degrees C yields 7-hydroxy-6/8-allylchromones 4a-d and 2'-methyl-2',3'-dihydrofuran ochromones 5a-d.
