Abstract
A clamped infinite strip of an orthotropic material and containing a semi-i nfinite crack is considered,. The strip is loaded by time-dependent transla tions of the boundaries and the dynamic stress-intensity factor is obtained using a path independent integral. The solution is found to be of the same form as for the corresponding isotropic case.
