Abstract
We consider some features of modern stage of evolution in the field of aero engine design and production automation. We suggest variants of using diffe rent CAD/CAM/CAE system classes to construct information environment for a design bureau or a plant. We discuss the basic problems connected with the CADS <<growth>> and consider the ways of their resolution.
