Abstract
The conductive Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film based on ditetradecyldimethylamm onium-Au(dmit)(2) salt was studied. The film quality at the air/water inter face was greatly improved by changing the "waiting time(T-w)", which is def ined as the time between the application of the spreading solution and the onset of compression. The main factor for the morphological improvement is considered to be the oxidation of the Au(dmit)(2) moiety at the air/water i nterface. The resultant conductivity of the LB film was highest in the case of T-w = 30 min.
