Abstract
In this study, the nonlinear response of a simply supported metallic rectan gular plate subject to transverse harmonic excitations is analyzed using th e method of multiple scales. Stability of solutions, critical points, types of bifurcations in the presence of a one-to-one internal resonance, togeth er with primary resonance, are determined.
