The standard molar Gibbs energy of formation of CaZrO3 from CaO and ZrO2 ha
s been determined by the e.m.f. measurements of a galvanic cell with calciu
m-ion conducting solid-state electrolyte in the temperature range 1073 K to
1273 K. The average values of the standard enthalpy and the standard entro
py in the temperature range covered by the e.m.f. measurements have also be
en estimated. The results have been compared with those obtained by other a
