Abstract
This study extends the socio-political control scales developed by Zimmerma n and Zahner (1991) to the context of citizen participation in natural reso urce agency decision making. The study shows that a natural resource-specif ic scale is more appropriate for behaviors related confirm the usefulness o f topic-specific measures of socio-specific measures of socio-political con trol.
