The complex interaction bent een underwater explosion bubbles and nearby st
ructures is studied using two-fluid computational fluid dynamics. Gravitati
onal effects on bubble jetting are significantly different between jet-up a
nd jet-down orientations. This paper presents computational results of unde
rwater explosion hubble dynamics near a disk anti a sphere. The results sho
w that the bubble jetting and collapse phenomena and the consequent pressur
e lending are affected br the structure's shape, the orientation of the bub
ble to the structure, and the bubble depth. A unifying notion emerges conne
cting jet strength at impact to bubble curvature at the time of jet formati
on.
