Abstract
LiCoMnO4 with the spinel structure loses oxygen on heating in air above sim ilar to 570 degreesC and by similar to 1050 degreesC reaches the approximat e stoichiometry `LiCoMnO3' which has the cation-disordered rock salt struct ure. On cooling, the transformation is fully reversible.
