Abstract
The structure, magnetic properties and Mossbauer effect on Sr2Fe1- xMxRe1 y M'O-y(6) (x = 0, 0.1; y = 0, 0.1; M = Sc; M' = Nb) phases with partially or dered double perovskite structures are presented. The Nb and Sc substitutio ns affect the magnetisation values but the T-c values remain unaltered arou nd 400K. Mossbauer analysis shows high spin Fe3+ ions, except for Sr2FeReO6 , which shows a mixed valence state at high temperatures.
