Abstract
Transition metals (Cu, Mn and Co) have been substituted for gallium in an a zamacrocycle-containing gallium phosphate inorganic-organic hybrid material (GaPO4)(2)(OH)F-2. Ga(C10N4H24). The substitution of the gallium by copper and manganese occurs at the octahedral site that is at the centre of the a zamacrocycle complex. The effect of this substitution on the structure of t he materials has been studied using Rietveld refinement against synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction data and electron spin resonance spectroscopy.
