Proper equation of fracture curve

This article contains a presentation of the proper equation of fracture cur ve and a treatment of requirements with which this equation has to comply. It has been proved that using an exponential curve for this purpose is erro neous. Studies have been presented and discussed, which show that the curve of fracture is a function of two variables. In this article, a proposal of mathematical equations is made, which exposes the curve of fracture as a f unction of two variables describing the state of stress. Practical applicat ions of this theory have also been displayed.
