Abstract
This paper reviews some of the major challenges in requalification and reha bilitation of offshore platforms. Main emphasis is put on requalification n eeds, acceptance criteria, and methods. This review is also applied to the decommissioning phase of older platforms. Finally, some important requalifi cation projects are reviewed with emphasis on rehabilitation needs.
