Abstract
We investigate the behavior of a production model with non-convex operating cost and small adaption cost for the production fate. For zero adaption co st the optimal solution is known to be a chattering strategy, oscillating i nfinitely fast between two efficient production speeds. We show that for sm all Values of the adaption cost a fast oscillation between the two states o ccurs.
