Abstract
The complex image (CI) technique is used to calculate Green's functions for dipoles radiating in layered media using a system identification technique , usually the generalized pencil-of-function (GPOF) method. In this paper, new weighted system identification techniques are applied for the first tim e to the CI technique which greatly increase its accuracy. (C) 2001 John Wi ley & Sons, Inc.
