Abstract
Polyoxometalate systems provide excellent models for the study of unusual m olecular growth processes based on {Mo-11}-type building motifs/blocks lead ing to unusual giant spherical and ring-shaped structures with stoichiometr y {Mo-11}(n), (n = 12, 14, 16)-a Pythagorean harmony.
