First observations of fine structure in proton emission from the isotopes T
m-145 and Tm-146m,Tm-gs are reported. The 3 mus decay of Tm-145 was studied
by means of the Recoil Mass Separator rand digital processing of its detec
tor signals. The structure of the proton-emitting states as well as the pro
perties of daughter states, a 2(+) state in Er-144 and the S-1/2 and h(11/2
) neutron levels in Er-145, are deduced.
