Abstract
The Li-7(Li-7, He-4 He-6)He-4 reaction has been studied at 34 and 50.9 MeV. A measurement of the relative energy of the 4He and 6He fragments has allo wed the states at excitation energies of 9.56, 10.15, 11.8 and 17.8 MeV in Be-10 to be observed. Firm spin and parity assignments of 2(+) and 3(-) hav e been made for the states at 9.56 and 10.15 MeV, respectively, front an in vestigation of the fragment angular correlations.
