Abstract
The nucleus Lu-163 is Studied through the fusion evaporation reaction La-13 9(Si-29,5n)Lu-163 with a beam energy of 152 MeV. The linking transitions be tween two presumably triaxial super deformed (TSD) bands have been studied. The possible assignment of the excited TSD band as a wobbling mode built o n the yrast TSD band is discussed.
