C. Hamouda et al., IMMUNOLOGICAL RHOMBENCEPHALITIS ASSOCIATE D TO PROGRESSIVE PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS, Medecine et maladies infectieuses, 27(5), 1997, pp. 618-620
We report a clinical and anatomical case illustrating the association
of progressive pulmonary tuberculosis and immunological rhombencephali
tis. The clinical presentation included infectious symptoms and variou
s neurological signs. The diagnosis of double tuberculosis localizatio
n was discussed. After death, the neuropathological examination establ
ished that rhombencephalitis was related to an isolated angiitis of th
e central nervous system.
