Abstract
The study aimed the investigation of the oxalic acid effect (its concentrat ion and temperature), of the alloying effect and the effect of the metallur gical working on the electrochemical behaviour of the titanium and the tern ary Ti-1Ni-0.5Mo alloy. The electrochemical parameters of the titanium corr osion show that this is affected by the oxalic acid temperature and no by i ts concentration. The alloying with nickel and molybdenum is followed by ch anges of the electrochemical parameters: the raising of the corrosion poten tial, the decrease of the critical passivation current density, the increas e of the passive current density. The corrosion resistance of the alloy is improved. The metallurgical working does not significantly influence the co rrosion rate of the ternary alloy.
