One of the most important consequences of Portuguese discoveries was the bl ack slavery business. A most reputed theologist and jurist of the time, Jua n de Molina, who had a first-hand knowledge of the subject, made a thorough analysis of the justness of slavery from a theology and law perspective, w hile showing himself opposed to the same.
