Inactivity, reading and writing during Cuban Enlightenment

This article approaches the issue of the Enlightenment in Cuba from a three fold perspective: History of Reading, Cultural History and Prosopography. I t studies the beginnings of public opinion in Havana through printing, publ ic and private reading and both the daily press and its writers.
