Abstract
This article studies the main technical, financial, work and production pro blems which affected the quicksilver mining exploitation in Huancavelica in the first decades of the 18th century. It also studied the valuable initia tives developed by the Governor and Superintendent of the Mine, the Marquis of Casa Concha, for the application of the Royal orders aimed at the refor mation of the same.
