We report on a 57-year-old patient with Sezary syndrome. The clinical diagn
osis was supported by immunophenotyping of peripheral blood lymphocytes and
subsequently by histological examination of skin lesions. In contrast to p
reviously published cases, we observed not only one but four clones of T ce
lls with atypical immunophenotype. The clonality was demonstrated by detect
ion of identical V beta chains of the T cell receptor.
