Two new Trichogramma species from Europe are described. One of these specie
s, T. gicai, sp. n., was collected in Northeast Spain from eggs of Iphiclid
es podalirius (Lep.: Papilionidae). It belongs to the perkinsi group and sh
ows a long oviposi tor The other species, 7 acantholydae, sp. n., was colle
cted in Northwest Italy from eggs of Acantholyda spp. (Hym.: Pamphiliidae).
It belongs to the fasciatum group and has the particularity of being univo
ltine with an obligatory diapause.
