Abstract
We demonstrate the use of a chaotic laser pulse train for high-precision ra nging. The pulse train is produced by inducing coherence collapse in an AlG aAs semiconductor laser. Measurements of optical spectra, intensity autocor relation functions, and ladar ranging are presented. (C) 2001 American Inst itute of Physics.
