Fallstreaks and their parent generators

We present a comparatively rare photograph of cirrus uncinus (mare's tail c irrus) fallstreaks with supercooled cumuliform generating heads. The image demonstrates regeneration of the clouds to account for the extended lifetim e of both the generating cells and the ice crystal trails. The observations provide further support for prior hypotheses.
