Abstract
Two electrocapillary curves sigma(phi) for copper containing 0.05 wt % of sulfur and sulfur-free copper in a boroaluminate electrolyte at 12 00 degrees C are analyzed jointly. To determine the influence of inter face-active particles on the electrocapillary properties of copper, th e concurrent particle adsorption and the displacement of the potential of zero charge are accounted for in the approximation of the Langmuir adsorption isotherm.
