Abstract
This paper is devoted to study uniparametric families of maps when some con ditions of nondegeneration in the derivatives fail. As a result, we find th at under conditions of degeneration we can have situations of structural st ability. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
