Abstract
A novel experimental device used to study crystallization or electrocrystal lization processes on a transparent electrode is described. This device all ows simultaneous measurement of three in situ parameters over time, i.e., c urrent, mass, and microscopic images of the interface between the electrode and the solution. The interest in this approach is demonstrated in the cas e of CaCO3 electrocrystallization. (C) 2001 The Electrochemical Society.
