Abstract
Peroxidase-like catalytic activity of a heme peptide-modified electrode is reversibly controlled by use of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide- co-N-vinylimida zole), a thermoresponsive copolymer with a functional group that inhibits t he catalytic activity. The polymer suppresses the cathodic current response of the electrode to H2O2 below its lower critical solution temperature (LC ST), and no suppression is observed above the LCST.
