T. Tatsuma et al., Activity control of a heme peptide-modified electrode by an inhibitor bound to a thermoresponsive polymer, EL SOLID ST, 4(2), 2001, pp. E5-E7
Peroxidase-like catalytic activity of a heme peptide-modified electrode is
reversibly controlled by use of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide- co-N-vinylimida
zole), a thermoresponsive copolymer with a functional group that inhibits t
he catalytic activity. The polymer suppresses the cathodic current response
of the electrode to H2O2 below its lower critical solution temperature (LC
ST), and no suppression is observed above the LCST. (C) 2001 The Electroche
