Random double-bit error-correcting decomposable codes

For odd m, a family of decomposable [3.(2(m) - 1), 3.(2(m) - 1) - 3m, 5] co des, based on \a + x\b + x\a + b + x\ construction, are proposed. A simple high-speed decoding algorithm for these codes suitable for implementation i n combinational circuits is described.
