Abstract
Simulated HIPERLAN/2 physical layer results are contrasted using wideband m easurements for omnidirectional and sectorised antennas. Gains as high as 1 3.4dB are observed using a 60 degrees sectorised antenna, Results demonstra te sectorised antenna improvements for all environments. even those where s patial filtering reduces the degree of frequency selective fading.
