Abstract
A method of multiscale-combined inversion (MCI) using the orthogonal wavele t transform is applied to an inverse seismic waveform based on the convolut ional model. MCI is a promising method because of its low dependence on the initial model, convergence efficiency and robustness. Numerical results sh ow the effectiveness and potential of the method.
