This paper discusses the control of the rotational motion of a rigid body w
ith a fixed point under the effect of small white Gaussian noises using int
ernal rotors. The stochastic control laws ensuring the tendency of the stoc
hastic motion to the unperturbed motion and to the programmed motion are de
termined as non-linear function of the variables describing the stochastic
and programmed motions. The chosen programmed control law ensures the asymp
totic stability with probability one. An estimation of the angular velocity
tending to the programmed motion is found. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd.
