Abstract
The molar conductances of dilute solutions of sodium bromide and sodiu m iodide at 298.15 K in methanol + water over the entire range of comp osition are reported. The limiting molar conductances, association con stants, and ion size are evaluated by means of the Fuoss-Onsager equat ion. The results show that no detectable ion association was found for the electrolytes below 80 mass % methanol.
