Abstract
The x-ray absorption spectra in metallic W (Tungsten) have been measured ab ove M-III edge using the third generation synchrotron radiation, ALS, Berke ley. Several features caused by multi-electron transitions were detected on M-III in solid phase. [3p4f], [3p5s], and [3p5p] double electron transitio ns were identified by the Z+1 approximation.
