G. Consolati et al., Drying and rewetting of mature cement pastes studied through positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy, J AM CERAM, 84(1), 2001, pp. 227-229
Positron annihilation lifetime measurements have been conducted on mature c
ement pastes, subjected to drying and rewetting treatments that remove and
restore the free water from the pastes, to study possible changes of the mi
crostructure, Analysis of the results suggests that repeated drying followe
d bg rewetting does not induce irreversible modifications in the configurat
ion of the finest gel pores.
