Clinical, electrodiagnostic and myelographic findings of a ten years old po
odle birch with an atypical tumor of the nerve root are described. The find
ings were lameness, rhizopathic pain, EMG activity in the myotoms of the ra
dial nerve, a radiographic enlargement of the intervertebral foramen C7-T1
and an extradural compression at C7 during the myelography.
