Abstract
The synthesis of hydroxyethers (monomers and dimers) from glycerol and several fatty chains epoxyalkanes in the absence of organic solvent w as studied. Two acid catalysts (M31 resin, activated earth) and two ba sic catalysts (CH3ONa, CH3 COONa) were tested.
