Abstract
LDPE-elastic filler blends modified by an ethylene copolymer with vinyl ace tate or PP were studied. It was shown that the modifying action of the ethy lene-vinyl acetate copolymer on the properties of a rubber/plastic blend re sulting in the enhancement of the material deformability is due to increasi ng the adhesive strength at the matrix-powdered rubber interface. The prope rties of the polymeric matrix modified by the compatibilizing agent do not have a substantial effect on the properties of the blend.
