Abstract
New uranosilicates Rb[HSiUO6].H2O and Cs[HSiUO6].H2O, members of the morpho tropic series A(1/k)(k) HSiUO6. nH(2)O, were synthesized hydrothermally and identified. The uranosilicates were characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and thermal analysis. Their structure was studied, and therm olysis products were identified.
