Coordination compounds of transition metals with monooximes of 9,10-phenanthrenequinone and its nitroderivatives

The complexes of copper(II), nickel(II), iron(III), chromium(III), and coba lt(III) with 9,10-phenanthrenequinone monooxime (L-1), 2-nitrophenanthreneq uinone monooxime (L-2), 2,7-dinitrophenanthrenequinone monooxime (L-3), 2,5 -dinitrophenanthrenequinone monooxime (L-4), and 2,4,7-trinitrophenanthrene quinone monooxime (L-5) were synthesized. The crystal and molecular structu re of CuL21. 2DMSO was determined. The structure of the obtained compounds was considered on the basis of the IR and electronic absorption spectroscop ical data.
